The asking rent was $70 per square foot and the lease term length was set for six years. Bill Iacovelli of CBRE (CBRE) represented the tenant and Brad Gerla and Christie Harle of CBRE represented the landlord.

“Seven WTC was the first building to be rebuilt and open at the World Trade Center in May 2006. It was also the first LEED-certified office building in New York City, achieving the gold standard,”  said Jeremy Moss, senior vice president at Silverstein Properties. ” It’s 1.7 million square feet and is now fully leased to a dynamic mix of tenants representing many industries.”

Casey Family Programs was founded in 1966 and focuses on foster care and improving the child welfare system in the United States. The firm has invested over $1.6 billion since its start and plans on investing another $1 billion in accordance with its 2020 Strategy.

Mr. Moss also said Casey Family Services selected 7 WTC because of it is a cost saving and efficient space as an LEED-certified building, higher ceilings, exposure to light, fresher air, the new construction, and its proximity to to the Financial District transportation hub.
